Joanne Kulamannage is a graduate of the Academy of Design (2017), and holds a B.A (Hons) in Fashion Design from Northumbria University. After completing her education, she worked as a junior designer and textile designer where she was able to explore fashion and design while honing her technical skills. Joanne specializes in denim, working with local artisans to manipulate this timeless fabric into contemporary pieces which suit the modern young woman of today. Joanne creates distinctively wearable clothing that inventively blends classic tailoring with an edgy yet understated aesthetic. Joanne will be making her CFW debut at the Emerging Designer showcase for the Summer 2020 season.
