Dinesh Chandrasena draws from her 25 years in the design industry with numerous creative projects in the US, the GCC, EU and Asia. Since her completion of design studies at FIDM in Los Angeles, Dinesh spear-headed the creative forces of Claire’s Collection, an evening wear design house in LA, showcasing her creations on the likes of Oscar winner Sandra Bullock, Oscar winner Dame Julie Andrews, and numerous Miss USA, and Miss America winners.
In the region, she has dressed actresses Sonakshi Sinha and Jacqueline Fernandez, and her creative design projects include the re-branding fashion shoots of Cinnamon Hotels and resorts, the Miss Intercontinental International, Miss India, Miss France and Miss China events with Cinnamon Hotels and resorts. Dinesh is also the Academic Lead and Fashion Design Programme Coordinator at Raffles Design Institute Colombo, and is currently working with Chethiya Wadugodapitiya on the WRAITH fusion line.
