Naduni Katuwandeniya is a Fashion and Lifestyle Designing undergraduate student of the University of Moratuwa, showcasing her first collection at CFW Summer 2021. She loves to work with sustainable crafts and her designs, silhouettes and colors are nature inspired.
Her brand TANDRA comprises occasion and resort wear. The designs are based on the craft industry in Sri Lanka and her main target is to give a modern spin to the traditional craft industry. Naduni Katuwandeniya tries to apply dramatic forms of mother nature to the human body. Beeralu craft, which is iconic in the Southern coastal area of Sri Lanka is used for this collection. She wishes to continue working with craftsmen in the Southern coast of Sri Lanka and help them uplift their standards of living in the future.
